Falsos mestres usam palavras cristãs, mas pregam outro evangelho. G.K. Chesterton wrote, “Christianity was unpopular not because of the humility, but of the arrogance of the Christians”. Christians pretend to be humble. We all want to look good before God, right? Let’s be frank. It feels good to be right, doesn’t it? Of course, we must do what is right, but why is it so hard to be humble when we know that what we do is the right way? Instead, we become arrogant, and even if we mean well, we want to force everyone to do the right thing in the same way we do it. Nowhere in the Scriptures say that we must follow a protocol to be accepted. When a group of people resists our way and does it their own way, which can also be right, we become contemptuous and fail at loving one another. Because of our arrogance. In Luke 9:49 – 50 “Master, said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us”...
