Why do you hate the Christians? // Por que você odeia os cristãos?

 

Have you noticed that every bad thing that any person does is either hidden or in the darkness? Although nobody wants to live in darkness nor hidden, people still hate the light. The light shows them their flaws, their unrighteousness, every bad thing. I asked myself several times the same question. I know the answer, but it is irrational if you stop to think about it. Your hate for Christianity. Have you asked yourself why you hate Christians that much? Is it because Christ is the Light and in Him there is no darkness? Everything gets exposed with Christ. You must confess all bad deeds that you have done, and you will know that you’ll very likely do them again and again. Is it because your pride is too big? You are too good to need God in your life. Right? Or are you too bad and think that God wouldn’t like you, or He will reject you? (In fact, every and any reason you come up with for hating Christians, you know, isn't good enough or even justifiable.) Let me tell you something that you probably have already heard many times now. If God were like that, nobody whatsoever would be accepted by God. He is holy and perfect and mighty and just.  As it is written in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have the eternal life.” Nobody would stand a chance before God without Jesus' sacrifice. The price for our sins is death. So, Jesus died in our place. If you hate Christ, there is nothing I can do for you. But you must know this: God loves us, and has always been this way. Before the foundation of the world, He loved us. When you reject Christ, you are rejecting God. Do not think that God has rejected you. He is waiting for you until the last minute of your life. He is willing to wait for you. We are the ones who need to acknowledge that we need Him; otherwise, we will have only darkness after death. If you are not with the light, where are you? You are in the darkness, right? It is ok to hate Christians. You say that we are a bunch of hypocrites. Let me ask you: are you not one as well? You want Christians to be perfect when you yourself can’t be one. We all fall short of the glory of God. Nothing we can do, will make us earn our salvation because it is already done. I mean, you cannot buy something that is already yours. You just need to accept the fact that it is yours and you will make good use of it. You will try your best to make the Death of Jesus worthy. He died for me and you. So, if I am in peace, loved, and taken care of, it is not because I did something to deserve it. I have it because Jesus gave it to me.  He can give it to you too; you just need to ask. As a good Father, He has a set of things that we need to do in order to become the person God created us to be.  God the Father wants all the best for his children. But we are rebels. We rebel against God because every kid does. But eventually the good kids turn back and repent and accept whatever our father teaches us. The path for transformation is long and hard, but we will never be alone on it. Christians aren’t perfect, far from it. We are a bunch of people who try to do our best and very often we fail while on it. Don’t be a hypocrite yourself, judging the Christians when you are not even trying. You think just because nobody sees your sins, it doesn’t mean you don’t have them. God is looking at them at all times. All those things that you have done in darkness, hidden, only in your thoughts. He knows. He is willing to forgive you, are you willing to be forgiven and turn around and change your way for Him? Come to the Light side. Jesus said, “The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light” John 12:35. You can hate Christians all you want, but that doesn’t mean that God hates you for that. Keep that in mind.

Você já percebeu que tudo de ruim que alguém faz está escondido ou na escuridão? Embora ninguém queira viver na escuridão nem escondido, as pessoas ainda odeiam a luz. Você é bom demais para precisar de Deus em sua vida. Certo? Ou você é mau demais e acha que Deus não gostaria de você ou que Ele o rejeitará? (Na verdade, toda e qualquer razão que você inventa para odiar os cristãos, você sabe, não é boa o suficiente nem mesmo justificável.) Deixe-me dizer algo que você provavelmente já ouviu muitas vezes. Se Deus fosse assim, ninguém seria aceito por Ele. Ele é santo, perfeito, poderoso e justo. Como está escrito em João 3:16: “Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho unigênito, para que todo aquele que nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna.” Ninguém teria chance diante de Deus sem o sacrifício de Jesus. O preço pelos nossos pecados é a morte. Então, Jesus morreu em nosso lugar. Se você odeia a Cristo, não há nada que eu possa fazer por você. Mas você precisa saber disso: Deus nos ama e sempre foi assim. Antes da fundação do mundo, Ele nos amou. Quando você rejeita a Cristo, você está rejeitando a Deus. Não pense que Deus o rejeitou. Ele está esperando por você até o último minuto da sua vida. Ele está disposto a esperar por você. Somos nós que precisamos reconhecer que precisamos Dele; caso contrário, teremos apenas trevas após a morte. Se você não está com a luz, onde está? Você está na escuridão, certo? Tudo bem odiar cristãos. Você diz que somos um bando de hipócritas. Deixe-me perguntar: você também não é um hipócrita? Você quer que os cristãos sejam perfeitos quando você mesmo não consegue ser um. Todos nós carecemos da glória de Deus. Nada que possamos fazer nos fará merecer a salvação, porque ela já está feita. Quer dizer, você não pode comprar algo que já é seu. Você só precisa aceitar o fato de que é seu e fazer bom uso dele. Você fará o seu melhor para tornar a morte de Jesus digna. Ele morreu por mim e por você. Então, se estou em paz, amado e cuidado, não é porque fiz algo para merecer. Eu tenho isso porque Jesus me deu. Ele pode dar a você também; você só precisa pedir. Como um bom Pai, Ele tem um conjunto de coisas que precisamos fazer para nos tornarmos a pessoa que Deus nos criou para ser. Deus Pai quer o melhor para seus filhos. Mas nós somos rebeldes. Nos rebelamos contra Deus porque toda criança se rebela. Mas, eventualmente, os bons filhos se arrependem e aceitam tudo o que nosso pai nos ensina. O caminho para a transformação é longo e difícil, mas nunca estaremos sozinhos nele. Os cristãos não são perfeitos, longe disso. Somos um grupo de pessoas que tenta fazer o seu melhor e, muitas vezes, falhamos enquanto caminhamos. Não seja hipócrita, julgando os cristãos quando você nem está se esforçando. Você acha que só porque ninguém vê seus pecados, não significa que você não os tenha. Deus está olhando para eles o tempo todo. Todas aquelas coisas que você fez na escuridão, escondidas, apenas em seus pensamentos. Ele sabe. Ele está disposto a perdoá-lo. Você está disposto a ser perdoado, a se voltar e mudar seu caminho para Ele? Venha para o lado da Luz. Jesus disse: "Aquele que anda nas trevas não sabe para onde vai. Enquanto vocês têm a luz, creiam na luz, para que se tornem filhos da luz" (João 12:35). Você pode odiar os cristãos o quanto quiser, mas isso não significa que Deus o odeie por isso. Tenha isso em mente.
