Falso testemunho




O Mandamento de número 9 diz em Êxodo 20:16 “Não darás falso testemunho contra teu próximo”.

Todo mundo sabe desde criança que nossos pais nos ensinaram que não devemos mentir, nem caluniar ninguém; por motivo nenhum.



Então esse seria o mandamento mais fácil a ser cumprido, certo?  Se você pensar que levantar falso testemunho é apenas mentir. Não acredito que seja, porque de outra maneira estaria escrito “Não mentirás”. Mas, levantar falso testemunho pode também ser interpretado perjúrio, fofoca, passar informações falsas, ser conivente com a mentira de outro, omitir a verdade ou seja, tudo que é levantado contra outra pessoa que não seja verdade.



Esse mandamento tem a ver com a sua conduta em relação ao seu próximo, ou a qualquer pessoa. Não é porque você não conhece que te dá o direito de repassar uma informação que você recebeu.

Hoje em dia com toda essa tecnologia é muito falso levantar falso contra outra pessoa. As pessoas hoje estão tão preguiçosas para pensar e investigar determinadas informações que para sua consciência ficar leve, é ignorado o fato de checar a veracidade da informação, e como a informação recebida de certa forma está de acordo com sua forma de pensar, então a pessoa simplesmente assume como verdadeira. Quando há grandes chances de não ser verdadeira.



Está escrito em Provérbios 18:21 “a língua tem poder sobre a vida e sobre a morte”. Que sua boca seja usada para trazer vida, para falar coisas boas, espalhar notícias reais, verdadeiras. Quando não se tem nada a dizer a melhor coisa é ficar calado. Pensar antes de falar é uma virtude que poucas pessoas adquirem. Na verdade eu penso que seja uma habilidade que é desenvolvida.



Em tempos calorosos como de eleições as pessoas parecem que se esquecem que elas possuem um órgão chamado cérebro que tem o poder de controlar a língua, e esse mesmo órgão, cérebro, tem o poder de analisar informações antes de serem repassadas. E o tanto de absurdos que vemos circulando na internet que é inacreditável. Mas enfim, querendo ou não querendo falar sem pensar, repassar informações sem ter a certeza da veracidade pode fazer com que você infrinja o nono mandamento, e consequentemente você pode estar contribuindo para destruir a vida de alguém.



Há alguns anos eu assisti o seriado “Gossip girl” (garota fofoqueira); e é impressionante como todo mundo sabe o mal que uma mentira, por menor que seja pode destruir a reputação e a vida de outra pessoa. Uma palavra mal dita pode acabar com um relacionamento; uma falta de filtro de palavras causa muitos problemas. Então, vamos desenvolver as habilidades de pensar antes de falar e checar informações antes de repassar.



Oremos: Senhor Jesus, obrigada por mais esse dia de vida; venho aqui reconhecer minhas falhas e meus erros diante de Ti. Quero te pedir para que me dê sabedoria para pensar antes de falar e checar informações antes de repassar para que eu não prejudique ninguém. Em nome de Jesus, amém.

  The death of my cousin made me think about a few things. Yes, it was a sad thing. So unexpected. It got us all by surprise, which hurt. He was such a nice, joyful, and lively guy or man. I like Gideon’s story because I used to use it to justify my lack of faith. Although if I had seen an angel, I probably wouldn’t doubt it. But when hard times come, we tend to be more skeptic because our mindset is: “If the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us?” ( Judges 6 :13) Isn’t that right?
