Árvore junto ao ribeiro


Imagino que a maioria estão de férias, ou pelo menos aproveitando o feriado; apesar de estar aqui escrevendo, eu também estou aproveitando o feriado para estabalecer planos para esse ano. Há alguns dias eu senti no meu coração de começar o ano escrevendo para vocês Salmos. Salmos é um livro de cânticos e sabedoria da bíblia. E foi escrito pelo rei Davi, Moisés, Asaf, Salomão, Heman, Etan. O livro de Salmos está subdividido em 5 partes, que são comumente chamados de livros, ou partes. Contém 150 capítulos. E eu estou disposta em ir analisando cada capítulo com vocês. Alguns capítulos podem levar mais de um dia, porque são grandes. Mas eu penso que será muito bom, tanto para mim, quanto para vocês. aposto que muitas de vocês nunca leram o livro de salmos inteiro.
Alguns capítulos, poderão ser transcritos aqui, outros apenas comentarei, e vocês se tiverem a curiosidade (que eu espero que tenham) podem abrir outra abra com o capitulo e ler. Deixarei o link aqui.

Este capítulo primeiro contrasta duas formas de vida. A forma em que não se dá bola para as coisas de Deus, e as consequencias; e o que acontece quando se valoriza os ensinamentos que a Palavra tem para o nosso dia a dia.

Então o salmos começa, Bem-aventurado (felizes) são os que em resumo quer dizer: felizes são
aqueles que não se misturam com as pessoas que zombam das escrituras, porque os que zombam já estão se condenando; a diferença é que aqueles que buscam conhecer a Palavra de Deus vão possuir sabedoria, e seus caminhos serão retos, e levarão a Deus; e Deus se agrada daqueles que o busca.

Já aqueles que não procuram a sabedoria da Palavra de Deus estão perdidos, são como palha, levados pelo vento e que eventualmente serão destruídos. Os que buscam a sabedoria da Palavra, o salmista compara como uma ávore plantada junto a um ribeiro, ou seja, verde, firme, com raízes, dá frutos. Melhor ser como uma árvore bem nutrida e saudável, do que ser como uma palha que voa com o vento e não tem destino. E seu fim é a própria destruição.

Espero que esse ano, juntas podemos buscar a sabedoria que vem do alto, para que possamos ser comparadas com uma árvore bem nutrida.

Oremos: Senhor, obrigada por esse ano que está começando. Desejo que esse ano seja bem melhor do que o ano passado. Que minhas decisções sejam baseadas na tua sabedoria, e que eu possa ser comparada a uma árvore bem nutrida. Que eu aprenda a distinguir os conselhos, e jamais me misturar com aqueles que desprezam os teus ensinamentos. Em nome de Jesus eu te peço, amém.

  The death of my cousin made me think about a few things. Yes, it was a sad thing. So unexpected. It got us all by surprise, which hurt. He was such a nice, joyful, and lively guy or man. I like Gideon’s story because I used to use it to justify my lack of faith. Although if I had seen an angel, I probably wouldn’t doubt it. But when hard times come, we tend to be more skeptic because our mindset is: “If the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us?” ( Judges 6 :13) Isn’t that right? However, we usually forget our sins. The idols we have put in our lives, our disobedience. We certainly are not praying as much as we should; we have let other things become a priority.
