Salmos 3 - Salva-me, ó Deus

Já conversei com vocês, antes do blog, a respeito da vida de Davi, do rei Davi. Mesmo sendo escolhido por Deus, e exatamente por isso, sua vida não foi fácil. No entanto, foi uma vida cheia de vitórias. E se você bem sabe, para ter vitória é preciso lutar por algo, certo? E lutar, significa confronto; e confronto quase nunca é algo que estamos confortáveis em ter. Pois, Davi quando escreveu esse salmos, estava fugindo do seu filho. Sim, Davi era Rei e precisou fugir do seu próprio filho que o queria matar; e conseguiu um exercito grande, debaixo do nariz do rei; e pessoas que o rei conhecia, e do seu próprio povo, muitos viraram as costas para Davi. O que o levou a fugir.

Consegue imaginar um rei, o melhor rei que Israel já teve em toda sua história, ter que fugir do seu próprio filho? Às vezes nós tendemos a fugir de pessoas que amamos; ou pessoas que querem nosso mal. Pessoas que tem inveja de nós. E no lugar do confronto, Deus diz para você ficar ali, quietinho, porque Ele vai lá lutar por você. E de repente as coisas se resolvem por "si mesmo", e Deus te dá a vitória. Foi assim que aconteceu nesse episódio da vida de Davi. Na perseguição à cavalo, Absalão foi passar por debaixo de uma árvore, e morreu ali, pendurado (A morte de Absalão). Davi chorou pela morte do seu filho, mesmo sabendo que esse filho o queria morto.

Nos versículos 3 a 6 desse salmo diz assim: Mas tu, Senhor, és o escudo que me protege; és a minha glória e me fazes andar de cabeça erguida. Ao Senhor clamo em alta voz, e do seu santo monte ele me responde. Eu me deito e durmo, e torno a acordar, porque é o Senhor que me sustém. Não me assustam os milhares que me cercam. Salmos 3:3-6

Davi está dizendo aí que em meio a perseguição, quando ele clama a Deus, o Senhor responde; e ele não precisa perder perder o sono por isso, porque ele sabe que só Deus pode sustenta-lo.

Saiba que quando algo ou alguém se levantar contra você, o que você precisa fazer é clamar ao Senhor, crendo que é Dele que vem a salvação Do Senhor vem o livramento. A tua bênção está sobre o teu povo .Salmos 3:8

Oremos: Senhor, obrigada por me sustentar. Por todos os livramentos que diariamente o Senhor tem me dado. Ouve-me quando eu clamar por socorro; ajuda-me a enxergar os teus caminhos. O caminho da tua salvação. Em nome de Jesus, amém.

The death of my cousin made me think about a few things. Yes, it was a sad thing. So unexpected. It got us all by surprise, which hurt. He was such a nice, joyful, and lively guy or man. I like Gideon’s story because I used to use it to justify my lack of faith. Although if I had seen an angel, I probably wouldn’t doubt it. But when hard times come, we tend to be more skeptic because our mindset is: “If the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us?” ( Judges 6 :13) Isn’t that right? However, we usually forget our sins. The idols we have put in our lives, our disobedience. We certainly are not praying as much as we should; we have let other things become a priority. It is not like God is punishing us, they might as well be simply the consequences of our disobedience. Then when God decided to help, He wants to know what is in our heart. So, He demands to tear down all our idols. Are you willing to do that? Your job, your career, your friends, your family, your bank account, your health, the food, the entertainment, and so on.
